The Monte Argentario peninsula, with its two sea resorts Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, lies on the southern coast of Tuscany, 150 km north of Rome. It rises like an island from the sea, being connected to the mainland by lagoons and two narrow strips of land. Villa Baschieri lies in a quiet and green area at the edge of picturesque fishing and sailing town Porto Santo Stefano.
The Villa overlooks the bay and offers breathtaking views of the sea and coast. It was built by the Baschieri family in 1888 as a summer house. It is surrounded by a garden with tall trees.
